About Me

Hi, I’m George,
I like making things that start as questions and make you look twice.

I move between sketching, industrial design, code, and physical and digital prototyping to explore new ways of interacting.

Check it out

Sketchy

Often unfinished, sometimes absurd, always chasing a thought.
Early ideas live here. Momentum over polish: a space to think through making, and make through thinking.

Facecam as Interface
Interaction Sketch

Drag the FaceCam 👉

Screen recorders let the presenter move their own webcam around. What if the viewer could? Instead of building a video player, I hijacked a drag feature already sitting in this site’s platform.

Not a product. Enough to feel the idea.

Hat Pin
One Blink a Minute

A modular LED pin that blinks once per minute, drawn from my own experience with hemianopia. Self-blinking diode, coin cell, universal casing that mounts to any hat. Prototyped from battery-candle parts. No PCB, no switch.

Simplicity can be more inclusive.

Capacitive Hover Prototype
Hover as a Fourth Input

The Apple Pencil Pro knows where it is before it lands. Hover, pressure, tilt and touch all shaping the visuals and the sound at once, on an iPad mini. Coded in Gemini Canvas.

Simple inputs, rich output. The range was already in the hardware.

Pendant
Playing with Material

I wanted a perfectly symmetrical modern pendant. Printed flat in translucent PETG with a 1.8 mm nozzle, hung down the staircase, then took a heat gun to it. It warped. That’s when it got fun.

My favourite part isn’t when the light is on. It’s how the morning light beams off it.

Headless MacBook Pro
Hardware Hack

The display died. Vertical lines, constant glitching. I stripped the screen entirely and kept everything else: a Mac Mini with a built-in keyboard and trackpad. No enclosure, no extra parts.
