An ongoing exploration of the sensors we already own, used in unexpected ways.
Built on a simple realization: the 6-DOF motion core inside a pair of AirPods is one of the most widely distributed motion controllers on earth. Worn on the head, held in the hand, taped inside a toy, or fused to another device, it becomes an input nobody designed it to be. Prototyping, play, drawing, and performance.

Industrial Design Studio
From hobby to side business
Deme Design began as a small home furniture project I started with my sister, focused on sustainability and 3D printing.
Since then, it's evolved into a multidisciplinary design studio, working across furniture, retail collections, custom 3D-printed home goods, and even B2B commissions like jewelry boxes, electronic casings, custom signage, and even an ergonomic dog leash!

“WorkWork”2024 - present
For the past two years at Globe Electric, I've taken products from sketch to shelf: industrial design, interaction design, prototyping, vendor communication, and a lot of creative problem-solving. I've contributed to multiple product lines, hold patents on products and systems I developed, and made the team faster by streamlining how departments talk to each other.
The work runs from one-week client turnarounds to multi-year developments, for both in-house lines and private label clients. Most of it is under NDA, but here's a motion security light I designed, sold at The Home Depot.

Hey, I’m George,
I've been “doing” design for 6+ years
I’m classically trained as an industrial designer, but most of my energy now goes into exploring where hardware and software meet, where design stops being static and starts behaving, responding, even surprising. I like working at that blurry edge between interaction and object, between what’s obvious and what’s just possible enough. I try to build things that feel thoughtful, sometimes a little strange, but grounded in how people actually think, move, and feel. To me, design isn’t a fixed medium; it’s just the toolset that helps an idea come to life. It usually starts with sketching, sometimes turns into CAD, or even code nowadays. Any method to prototype an experience and to help develop and articulate an idea.
